Our client is the market leader in Europe in the construction of large-scale photovoltaic systems. With headquarters in Sofia (Bulgaria) and Munich (Germany), the company currently employs over 1,500 people. With more than 630 solar power plants completed and over 10 GWp of installed capacity, our client continues to expand and is looking to strengthen their team in Munich as soon as possible—in the position of Payroll Specialist.
Your Responsibilities:
Carrying out payroll processes in compliance with legal regulations (experience with DATEV is an advantage)
Preparing and submitting monthly tax and social security declarations (social insurance, payroll tax, etc.)
Communicating with tax authorities and handling tax registrations for foreign employees working in Germany
Acting as a point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders
Monitoring and analyzing current developments in payroll matters, e.g., double taxation agreements, employee benefits;
Supporting the HR, tax, and finance teams with payroll and social security-related questions
Communicating effectively in both German and English (Bulgarian is a plus). - B2 Minimum
Your Profile:
In-depth knowledge of German payroll tax and social security law; Experience with DATEV payroll systems preferred; Ability to handle complex payroll tax matters and adapt flexibly to changes in legislation;
Understanding of international tax regulations, especially double taxation agreements;
German language skills at a minimum B2 level (required), and business-fluent English; Bulgarian is a plus;
Strong analytical and organizational skills;
Experience dealing with tax authorities, particularly in registering foreign employees. What Our Client Offers: Attractive salary package;
